Club Penguin - Case of the Missing Coins
This is a full guide to the third Club Penguin mission, called Case of the Missing Coins. In this third mission, you do a lot of detective work to figure out how a huge pile of coins from the Gift Shop vanished!
- Talk to the green penguin hanging around outside the vault.
- Continue speaking with him until he tries to show you that the door was secure. He shows you by locking the vault. It locks and he has forgotten the combination.
- Go inside the office with the Staff Only sign.
- Go to the right until you get to the couch.
- Click under the couch.
- Grab the diskette and the paperclip and place them in your inventory.
- Go back to the left to the computer. Place the floppy disk in the disk drive and turn the computer on.
- Click on My Files.
- Click on combination_number.
- The combination changes every time you attempt the mission. Remember the numbers for NESW. These letters are compass directions (North, South, East, West) and will map to the combination on the safe.
- Go down stairs and enter the combination into the safe.
- Walk inside the vault.
- Click on the all the coins on the roof.
- Your phone will ring. G asks you to come back to the HQ.
- Head back to HQ and talk to him.
- Look at the video. Then go back to G.
- Click on the drawer and pick up the key in the top left corner. If you bother to decode the messages on the keys, the one in the top left is the one that is labeled right.
- Go inside the office in the gift store again.
- Open the door to the roof with the key that you got from G’s drawer.
- Open your spy phone and get the spanner/wrench.
- Open the box with the spanner.
- Put the paper clip in the box. It will make it short-circuit and shut the power off.
- There is a piece of white fiber in the drain. Pick it up.
- Go to the vault downstairs.
- Click on the coins.
- Go to Headquarters and give G the white fiber that you found on the roof..
- Move to the right. Pick up the flashlight under the map.
- Go to the Town and talk to the brown penguin who is crying outside the night club.
- Go inside the nightclub and turn on the flashlight, or if you have night vision goggles use them instead.
- Go to the secret entrance to the boiler room. It is one of the loudspeakers towards the right.
- Locate the fuse box and click on it.
- Read the instructions that are inside of the fuse box.
- You have to make all the lights green. Follow the instructions for this game. It can be a little challenging.
- When you get the power on go inside the night club and talk to the brown penguin that was sobbing.
- Go to HQ and speak with G.
- Get the medal and a thank you card. You completed the mission!
